We finally reached the full mobile era, where computers are barely needed with today’s smartphone invasion. You can sit on your local coffee shop and pull up documents and presentations, edit spreadsheets , video-talk to friends and clients and even organize your finances from those tiny little machines.
So, according to Gartner (News – Alert), Inc., the worldwide mobile voice and data revenue will exceed one trillion dollars a year by 2014, what are you waiting to create a mobile version of your site/blog? You have to enter the mobile scene, but always try to keep some rules in mind:
- mobile networks are slower than the ones you have at home, so try to reduce your content (specially images);
- keep your contact infos and address in the front page towards the center;
- if possible, do not only “reskin” your website, try to rebuild it for mobile.
